The LC100a Liquid Bath is specifically for calibrating glass thermometers.
The liquid flow through an inner tube forms a meniscus which creates a smooth flow higher than the top of the bath, ensuring an optical line of sight for reading fully immersed thermometers.
The re-circulating liquid flow of the LC100a bath guarantees no “dead” spaces, minimizing temperature gradients, while the separate calibration chamber prevents direct radiation onto the probes from the
heater.
