The LR0 Calibration Bath system allows calibration to be carried out at 0°C using a mixture of ice, air and water which is kept homogeneous by using an efficient stirring system in the bath.

The LR0 Ice Bath allows you to calibrate
thermometers at the traditional "ice point".

However, in an unstirred ice/water mixture,
gradients can form, so the continuous stirring in
the LR0 improves your calibration accuracy.

The thermal properties of an ice/water mix,
gives you high stability over several hours.
