DB236 LCR Bridge for Aluminum and Tantalum Capacitors.
Large capacitors are normally tested by low frequency capacitance and dissipation factor and high frequency impedance. Until today it has been necessary to use two instruments for this application.
4 measuring frequencies: 100kHz, 10kHz, 1kHz and 100Hz (120Hz)
Basic accuracy better than 0,05% (C & Z) 2 x 10-4 for tan δ and ESR 0,1m
Especially suitable for tantalum and electrolytic capacitors, as well as other high capacitance CLR applications. Built-in contact check function. High measuring speed: 20 to 180ms from
trig to end of measurement, depending of frequency. No trig delay

With the new DB236 Aluminum and Tantalum Capacitor Bridge Tester it is possible to do all tests almost simultaneously.
The tests are fast and accurate and done with just one capacitance tester.

Typically capacitance and dissipation factor are tested with 100Hz or 120Hz and impedance by 100kHz. In standard speed mode all these tests are carried out in less than 200msec inclusive of bin output for capacitance, tan d or ESR and impedance.

Trig-delay is not necessary, making high output yield possible.

As standard the DB236 Aluminum and Tantalum Capacitor Bridge Tester has 4 generators with 1kHz and 10kHz as well. Multi-frequency test facilities with built-in limit comparator, IEEE488 (GPIB) and RS232 data interfaces as and handler interface (opto-coupler type).
