Temperature controller regulator thermostat |
The
HD 4034 temperature controller regulator thermostat is an ON/OFF regulator with relay output (1 exchange
contact 3A/22OV).
The setting of the intervention temperature (set point) is
carried out by pressing the button on the left of the front panel of the
instrument and turning the knob on the right until the temperature at which
the relay contact is to open is shown on the display. Intervention
hysteresis may be adjusted with a trimmer at the rear of the instrument.

The
temperature sensor is a PT 100 probe. If this is connected with 2 wires and
a cable with a section of 1 mm2 , a reading in excess of 0.006°C/m is
obtained. For long distances we advise a three-wire connection, with the
third wire connected to terminal 2.
With the three-wire connection the line
resistance is automatically compensated.
The thermostat may be used either for heating or for cooling, simply by
moving the jumper at the rear of the instrument.
When the jumper is in
HEATING position, the relay is energized if the probe temperature is
lower than the set temperature; when the jumper is in COOLING
position, the relay is energized if the probe temperature is higher
than the set temperature.
