Electronic Loads with
multiple modes of operation
The FK-series electronic DC loads
offer four modes of operation: Constant current, constant
resistance, constant voltage and constant power. Within the multiple
mode operation, these compact multi-functional DC load units serve
an extensive range of applications from testing a switching power
supply or other electronic devices to developing a solar battery or
other energy sources. Especially in the constant voltage mode, the
FK-Series comes with the ÐR function which is proven effective in
testing battery chargers.
All setting of the electronic load
are controlled through a CPU based digital control circuit, there by
attaining fine resolution and accurate and repeatability. Up to
eight units of the same model of loads or boosters can be operated,
in parallel master-slave-mode. The signals for the units for this
mode of operation can be controlled an monitored by the master unit
alone, with displays the current setting, resistance setting, and
also the total current and total power.
Features:

large load power of 200 W.

Internal resistance in constant voltage mode changeable by the ÐR

Low minimum operating voltage.
Switching three kinds of settings in memory possible.
Digital voltmeter, ammeter and wattmeter and bar-graph wattmeter.
Control and reading by a personal computer in an optional
configuration.
Current can be supplied to the load such as capacitance input type
electronic equipment with rush and current flow.

Programmer for FK-Series (TC
911 B)
System Structure:
The TC 911 B Programmer has an
Interface port for GP-IB and RS 232 C, allowing both-way
communications between an FK Series Electronic Resistance Load an a
computer through a Task-Bus cable. Up to sixteen unit of FK-Series
devices can be controlled with a single unit of TC 911 B. The
Task-Bus cable is a 20-core ribbon cable with connectors for ready
hooking up of the devices.
Features:
For FK-Series settings of all
operation parameters and reading back of the measured voltage,
current, and power and the set parameter values can be made with the
computer.
The set values and measured values
can be handled in terms of real numbers by the computer software.
The signal cables are connected on
side panels of the devices in order not to be in the way when you
access the rear panels of the devices.
A space for installing the TC 911 B
is secured at a right-hand corner of the rack, thereby making the
rack mount looks neat.
