ITU-100 CURRENT TRANSMITTER TRANSDUCER

ITU-100 Current transmitter computes RMS current and converts the RMS value to a proportional 0-20mA output current. The wide frequency range, DC to 10kHz (Option 1: DC-100kHz) yields excellent accuracy for sinusoidal as well as nonsinusoidal signals (pulsed systems) and signals containing DC components. The 0-20mA output current is galvanically isolated from input and electronics supply.
Three transmitters can be hooked-up in a 3-phase system to monitor total current, or average current by simply adding the transmitter output currents in a ammeter or a common scaling resistor.
The transmitter is well suited to monitor electrical equipment. The 0-20mA signal can be transmitted over long distances (100m - 500m) without loss of accuracy. Galvanic input/output isolation yields maximum operator safety and eliminates ground loop problems.
