CT 6001 Cyanogen Plasma Glow
System
CT 6001 Cyanogen Plasma Glow System
provides a means of measurement of gaseous content and coating
density in most types of incandescent lamps in the laboratory and
on-line quality control conditions.
Not only will each individual bulb be tested, but also the
collected data will provide information about the performance of
your equipment for analysis and correction of any equipment
malfunction.
No single Test Fixture can test all bulb types, but this system is
capable of testing the greatest number of different types. The
High Voltage RF generator is slaved to the Controller to provide
the specific excitation required by that bulb and process. Real
time decisions are programmed for optimum results.

|
 |
This system can be used
as an analysis tool for new products and processes.
A computer can be linked to the CT6001 controller to upload data
about the product under test.
CT 6001A Cyanogen Afterglow System is
responsible for Plasma Decay
measurements
from moment of excitation to final
decision for the
lamp under test.
The CT 6001 bases the
good/bad lamp decision on
two Reject Algorithms:
- integration of the
signal from the photomultiplier during the plasma decay and,
- time measurements
of plasma decay.

After the parameters for the test
are entered, there is no need for adjustment.
All functions are calibrated and repeatable. The RF excitation
is self-correcting.
When compared with the price to
install other after-glow testers, the CT6001S has no hidden costs.
All hardware, software and installation instructions are included
in the quoted price.
Also, with normal precautions and periodic maintenance for the
on-site operating conditions, there will be excellent longevity.

CT 6001A Cyanogen Afterglow System
Controller consists of 6 major functional blocks:
- Analog and interface Board
Assembly. It is responsible for interfacing the High Voltage
RF Oscillator, Photo Multiplier, High Voltage DC Power Supply
with microprocessor board.
- Microprocessor Board Assembly.
It is the core of the controller and responsible for all
functions of the system.
- Front Panel Control and LCD
Display provides method of Human Interface. It accesses the
setting of parameters and reads back the test results.
- AC to DC House Keeping Power
Supply provides all the necessary electrical energy for the
Controller to operate.
- AC to DC Controllable Power
Supply provides high DC voltage for photo multiplier. Its
output is set to a default of ~500 VDC and is changed from 350
to 750 VDC during the test in automatic mode of operation.
- Bottom Interface Panel provides
all necessary connections within the System:
- AC Power In. IEC type
connector for universal 90 to 240 VAC, 47 to 63 Hz.
- CT 6001A controller to AG
0201 HV-OS oscillator.
- High Voltage DC output to
photo multiplier.
- Photo multiplier output to
analog interface.
- Switch In — test request
signal to the controller.
