The bench type microprocessor controlled programmable universal Power Supplies E/PSI 8000-DT are ideally suited for schools, laboratory and workshop because of their desktop case.
The units are equipped with a flexible auto-ranging output stage (>1kW) which provides a higher output
voltage at lower output current, or a higher output current at lower output voltage, always limited to the
maximum nominal output power.
Output voltages up to 360VDC, Currents upon 60A at an output power of 1500W are available.
All models have a System bus terminal, which allows a serial- and parallel operation with symmetric
current sharing (Master/Slave) fast and easily.

Set values and actual values of output voltage, output current and output power are clearly represented
on the graphic display. The user can define and recall four different presets of set values, supervise
set values and actual values by definite limits. So it is able to operate the unit intuitively.
To prevent unintentional operations, all operations controls can be locked.
The Power Supplies already offer many functions and features in their standard version, making the use of
this equipment remarkably easy and most effective. Functions f (U, I, t) consist of sequences and can be
modified via the control panel or the optional, digital interfaces.
Up to 5 sequences can be assigned to a function; for each sequence, the max. Power, or optionally the
internal resistance and a repetition value can be configured.
As well the rise and fall times (tSR, tSF) during test procedures which require to the follow certain demands
(picture supervision) the device will supervise the condition and will generate a notification or alert.
Additional (>1kW) in order to achieve rapid voltage changes with minimal ramp up and down times,
the filter capacity can be reduced with the option High speed »EPS/HS«.
It results in ramp times in the range of microseconds.
The extensive integrated monitoring functions for all
output parameters with adjustable delays of alerts simplify test assembly, such that the usual external
Monitoring is mostly unnecessary.
