The labels to be converted should be specified by you when requesting a quote. The typical labels processed by this converter are shown in the table below. The ARINC 429 to NMEA 0183 converter adapts automatically to high, mid or low speed (100, 50 or 12.5kHz) ARINC 429 data and the inputs are opto-coupled for electrical isolation purposes. The ARINC 429 to NMEA 0183 converter is powered from an external 28 VDC (18-72V DC) nominal supply with internal current and thermal (150 ºC) fuse. The inputs are also reverse polarity protected.
The output data is in the form of RS232 or RS422 serial data transmitted at a rate of 4800 baud.
The output string is in ASCII and conforms to NMEA0183 data standard.
